Role Overview: The Pharmacist provides evidence-based medication management, ensuring patients receive appropriate drugs at correct doses while maintaining compliance with standards such as TJC, BOP, and CMS. They oversee pharmacy technicians, engage in teaching, and participate in quality improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver clinical pharmaceutical care, detect and resolve medication-related issues, and make patient-centered therapy recommendations.
• Verify medication orders for accuracy and appropriateness.
• Educate patients, families, and healthcare teams on medication use.
• Contribute to quality, safety, and performance improvement projects, including adverse event reporting and clinical guideline development.
• Participate in developing pharmacy services, supervise technicians, and enhance medication distribution processes.
