Job summary
TeamHealth is seeking an experienced physician assistant or nurse practitioner to join our emergency department team at Virtua Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Camden, New Jersey. The ideal candidate will have at least 1-2 years of emergency medicine experience and must possess an accredited PA or NP program degree and current New Jersey license. Competitive compensation is offered with an estimated hourly wage of $90.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited PA or NP program.
- Current New Jersey license in good standing.
- National board certification (NCCPA or AANP/ANCC).
- BLS and ACLS required; PALS preferred.
- Minimum 1 to 2 years of EM experience as an APC.
Responsibilities
- Perform medical screening exams, patient evaluations, and documentation.
- Diagnose and manage acute illnesses and injuries.
- Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests.
- Develop and implement patient treatment plans.
- Perform procedures appropriate to APC scope of practice.
