Qualifikationen

• Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• PA Licensure required.

Aufgaben

• Performs complex diagnostic and therapeutic procedures for emergency patients.
• Records data and tentative conclusions for physician review.
• Coordinates and schedules laboratory studies and diagnostic procedures.
• Explains procedures and expected effects to patients.
• Monitors patient progress and consults with supervising physician.
• Teaches students, residents and interns in emergency techniques.
• Ensures complete documentation in the medical record.
• Participates in continuing education and stays current with policies.
