Job summary

TeamHealth is actively seeking an experienced emergency medicine physician assistant or nurse practitioner to join the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital ED in Somerset, KY. The role is full-time with a focus on high-quality patient care in a busy ED.

Prior ED or urgent care experience is preferred; ACLS and PALS certification is required. Competitive compensation, state license reimbursement, CME access, and wellness programs are offered.

Qualifications

• ACLS and PALS certification required or eligible.
• EM physician assistant or nurse practitioner with ED/urgent care experience preferred.
• Eligible PA/NP must hold current licensure and be able to obtain state license.

Responsibilities

• Provide EM patient care in the ED under physician supervision.
• Perform patient assessments, orders, and procedures as part of the ED care team.
• Support continuous patient flow during 12-hour shifts.
