Job summary

TeamHealth is hiring a qualified Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner for our emergency department team at Abrazo West Campus in Goodyear, Arizona. In this fast-paced role, you’ll provide high-quality, patient-centered emergency care alongside an interdisciplinary team.

You will evaluate and manage patients, perform diagnostic tests, and collaborate with physicians to ensure optimal care. A comprehensive benefits package, competitive pay rates, and access to internal continuing education offerings are provided.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited PA or NP program.
• Current Arizona state licensure or eligibility.
• National certification (NCCPA for PAs or AANP/ANCC for NPs).
• DEA license.
• ACLS and PALS certification required.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients in the ED.
• Perform focused histories and physical examinations.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests.
• Develop and implement treatment plans.
• Collaborate with medical team for optimal patient care.
