Advocate Health Care in Greensboro, North Carolina seeks a Physician Assistant to join the Immediate Care team. This full-time position offers a varied schedule (35 hours per week) with a pay range of $59.00–$88.50 per hour and comprehensive benefits.

The PA will perform complex diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, coordinate tests, educate patients, document care, and participate in continuing education, research and teaching within the emergency/urgent care setting.

Qualifikationen

• Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• PA Licensure.

Aufgaben

• Performs complex diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in diagnosing emergency medical problems and prescribing necessary treatment and service for quality patient care.
• Records data and tentative conclusions for review by physician.
• Coordinates and schedules laboratory studies and diagnostic procedures.
• Explains the necessity, preparation, nature and anticipated effects of scheduled diagnostic and therapeutic procedures to the patient.
• Carries out complex patient care services under indirect physician supervision using advanced medical knowledge.
• Monitors progress of patients and consults with supervising physician when progress differs from criteria.
