Job summary

Emergency Physicians of the Rockies (EPR) is seeking experienced Physician Assistants with 1-2 years of dedicated Emergency Department experience to join our growing, physician-owned practice full-time.

EPR staffs six Emergency Departments across Northern Colorado, offering Level I–III trauma centres and freestanding ERs, with physician support, autonomy, and a schedule designed to support life outside of work.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Current DEA licensure.
• 1–2 years of Emergency Department experience strongly preferred.
• Current knowledge of emergency medicine practices, procedures, and equipment.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and commitment to patient-centered care.
• Genuine interest in emergency medicine and high-acuity clinical practice.

Responsibilities

• Assess and diagnose patients in the ED.
• Order and interpret diagnostic studies.
• Develop treatment plans and prescribe medications.
• Perform ED procedures and manage patient flow.
• Coordinate referrals and communicate with patients, families, physicians, consultants, and care teams.
