Job summary

Indiana University Health is seeking a patient-focused Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Emergency Medicine team in Lafayette and Monticello, IN. The position is full-time with 12‑13 shifts per month of 12‑hour duration, supporting Arnett Hospital and White Memorial Hospital.

You will work independently in various Emergency Department areas, provide emergency and observation medicine to patients of all ages, and perform ER procedures.

Qualifications

• ACNP, FNP or PA certification required
• Open to new graduates
• Emergency medicine or critical care background NP/PA preferred

Responsibilities

• Work independently in different areas of the Emergency Department including triage and main department
• Provide emergency medicine and observation medicine care for patients of all ages and presentations in a demanding, collaborative environment
• Perform ER procedures
• Maintain compassionate care, teamwork, and excellence in a dynamic clinical setting
