Job summary

US Acute Care Solutions is seeking a Medical Director for the Bastrop area to lead the Emergency Department with a focus on operational excellence and physician/APP leadership. You will collaborate with hospital and nursing leadership to guide clinical care and patient outcomes.

You will influence organizational decisions through our shared-ownership model, supporting physicians and APPs while maintaining service quality and security across the ED.

• Micro-hospital with 24/7 emergency care and radiology services
• Destination for five-star care just outside of Austin, TX
• Offers outpatient services including complex heart services at Seton Heart Institute and neurosurgery at Seton Brain and Spine Institute; primary care as well specialty care including Orthopedic Surgery and Gastroenterology
• Affiliated with Ascension Seton Hays and greater Austin Ascension system

ED Volume: 22,000

• ED Beds: 15
• 12-hour shifts
• Full lab and radiology capability
• EMR: Compass (same as the rest of the Ascension Seton network)

You will serve as a leader both within the emergency department and across the organization.
