Job summary

Overland Park Regional Medical Center is seeking an Emergency Medicine Medical Director for our Level II Trauma Center in Overland Park, Kansas. You will provide medical leadership and drive clinical quality across the emergency department.

This leadership role requires board certification or eligibility in emergency medicine and licensure in Kansas, with fixed weekly coverage hours and collaboration with hospital leadership to maintain trauma center excellence.

Qualifications

• Board certified/board eligible in emergency medicine (ABEM or AOBEM).
• Ideally prior leadership experience preferred.
• Eligible for Kansas medical licensure.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and clinical leadership as Emergency Medicine Medical Director.
• Oversee 37 hours Monday; 36 hours Tue-Sun; 32 hours APP coverage daily.
• Collaborate with hospital leadership to maintain Level II Trauma Center standards.

Qualified Candidates

• 37 hours physician coverage Mondays
• 36 hours physician coverage Tuesday – Sunday
• 32 hours APP coverage daily
• 36,500 annual patient visits
• Level II Trauma Center
• Eligible for Kansas medical licensure
