Job summary

University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) Fresno invites applicants for full-time faculty positions in Emergency Medicine at the rank of Instructor, Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor depending on qualifications.

Responsibilities include patient care at Community Regional Medical Center’s ED and teaching medical students, residents, fellows, and physician assistants. Board-certified (or eligible) in Emergency Medicine with CA license is preferred.

Qualifications

• Board-certified (or eligible) in Emergency Medicine.
• Active California medical license or in process.
• Experience providing patient care in an emergency department.
• Experience teaching medical students, residents, fellows, and physician assistants.
• Subspecialty expertise preferred (e.g., Ultrasound, EMS, Toxicology, Administration, Research, Pediatrics).

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in the Community Regional Medical Center ED.
• Teach and supervise medical students, residents, fellows, and physician assistants.
• Contribute to residency program activities and medical education.
• Participate in departmental research and clinical service as an academic faculty member.
