TeamHealth seeks an emergency medicine physician to serve as Assistant Facility Medical Director at the MUSC Freestanding ED/Urgent Care in West Ashley, Charleston, SC. This leadership role combines clinical oversight with administrative responsibilities to shape culture and quality of care.

Formación

• Board certified or board eligible in EM (ABEM/AOBEM).
• Current or eligible South Carolina medical license.
• Prior leadership experience preferred, but not required.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and team-building skills.
• Passion for quality patient care and physician leadership.

Responsabilidades

• Support the facility medical director in overseeing clinical operations.
• Foster a culture of quality, safety, and patient-centered care.
• Assist with clinician onboarding, mentoring, and engagement.
• Participate in quality improvement and performance initiatives.
• Collaborate with hospital administration and clinical stakeholders.
• Help drive departmental goals and operational excellence.
• Promote evidence-based clinical practice and patient satisfaction.
• Serve as a physician leader and role model within the department.
