Qualifications

• Experienced Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner desired.

• Provide ED coverage in a freestanding emergency department.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to deliver efficient patient care.

ED Volume: 18,000

• Average 53 visits per day
• ED Beds: 12 with 2 resuscitation bays
• Staffing Model:
  • 24 hours of Physician coverage
  • 10-12 hours of APP coverage
• EMR: Epic
• Full-service, Freestanding Emergency Department (FSED)
• Dedicated CT with 24/7 Radiology reads
• GlideScope and Sonosite PX US
• Helipad on-site
• Coverage includes all UM Shore locations (Easton, Cambridge, and Chestertown)
