Job summary
Relias Healthcare is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with Emergency Medicine experience to work in the Emergency Department of Jefferson Davis Community Hospital in Prentiss, MS. The Advanced Practice Clinician will work as a solo provider in the ED with physician back up.
The ED has 5 beds and 24-hour shifts, and uses EPIC for the EMR. Requirements include NP/PA board certification and ATLS, ACLS, and PALS.
Qualifications
- NP or PA board certified with Emergency Medicine experience.
- EM credentialing requirements include ATLS/ACLS/PALS.
Responsibilities
- Provide solo emergency department coverage with physician back-up.
- Operate in a 5-bed ED with 24-hour shifts.
- Utilize EPIC EMR for patient documentation.
- Participate in department protocols with no specialty services.
