Job summary

Virtua Health seeks a dedicated Medical Transport Operator to drive ambulances and MAVs, assisting EMTs during 911 and inter-facility requests. You will ensure timely, safe patient movement and superb customer service in a busy healthcare setting.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, CPR for professional rescuers, a valid license, and 18+ years old. Training and compliance with HIPAA and safety protocols are expected.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Current CPR certification to professional rescuer level.
• Valid driver’s license and must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Operates medical transport vehicles safely and courteously while adhering to laws and policies.
• Completes all required documentation and ensures on-time transports.
• Safely moves patients, loads/unloads wheelchairs, and maintains equipment and supplies.
