Job summary

All American Ambulance and Transport in Hughesville, MD, is seeking an EMT/paramedic for Regular Full-time work. Responsibilities include ensuring vehicle readiness, completing documentation, maintaining infection control, and pursuing ongoing training and recertification (BLS/CPR).

Qualifications

• CPR – Basic Life Support certification required.
• EVOC certification with appropriate experience.
• Public Service Commission license with MIEMSS ePins.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates and ensures knowledge, understanding and compliance of All American Ambulance and Transport policies and procedures.
• Ensures that the vehicle and equipment is ready for use at the beginning of the shift and after every call.
• Responds to emergencies and non-emergencies using appropriate care and caution in accordance with Maryland EMS regulations and company policy.
• Safely delivers the patient to the nearest most appropriate medical facility.
• Maintains professional conduct and patient care standards to reflect well on the company.
• Completes all appropriate documentation and record keeping for every assignment.
• Obtains complete billing information for all clients transported.
• Adheres to Universal Precautions and Infection Control policies during patient contacts and ongoing training.
