Job summary

LIFEwest Ambulance is seeking Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) to respond to both emergent and non-emergent requests, delivering high-quality, patient-centered care within the EMT scope of practice.

You will maintain accurate clinical documentation, operate ambulances safely, and collaborate with dispatch and healthcare partners across six locations, including Cotati, Novato, Oakland, Napa, Fairfield, and Sonoma Raceway, on 12‑hour shifts.

Qualifications

• Active California State EMT certification and valid CPR/BLS.
• Validated driving record (H-6) and California Driver’s License.
• Ability to maintain licenses and certifications throughout employment.

Responsibilities

• Respond to emergency and non-emergency calls per policy and protocols.
• Provide high quality patient care within EMT scope and under medical control.
• Safely assess, treat, monitor, and transport patients.
• Operate ambulance equipment and vehicles professionally.
• Maintain readiness of medical equipment, supplies, and vehicles.
• Complete accurate patient care documentation for each contact.
