Job summary

King's Daughters Med Transport in Ashland, Kentucky, seeks a dedicated EMT/Med Transport professional to assess patient conditions and deliver prompt medical care in emergencies. You will transport patients safely to healthcare facilities, communicate clearly, and maintain vital documentation in the EHR.

Requirements include EMT/AEMT certification, BLS, a valid driver’s license, and 0–1 year of healthcare experience.

Qualifications

• All experience must be in related field; part‑time and PRN experience will be prorated based on hours worked per week.

Job Summary

Responsible for assessing patient conditions and providing prompt medical care in emergency situations. Delivers essential medical assistance and ensures safe transportation of patients to healthcare facilities. Responds to emergency calls and transfers patients between homes, nursing facilities, and hospitals. Communicates effectively and demonstrates empathy in high‑pressure environments. Essential Functions

• Precepts orientees, supports team education, and participates in ongoing professional development and enterprise committees.
• Ensures compliance with established practices, quality standards, and regulatory requirements in all aspects of care and operations.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

0-1 years of experience in a healthcare, clinical setting, or a relevant area. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. All experience must be paid and in the same related field. Part‑time and PRN experience will be prorated based on hours worked per week.
