Job summary

Vitruvian Health in Dalton, GA is hiring an EMT‑I to respond to routine and emergency calls and deliver medical evaluation and treatment for patients of all ages within the EMT‑I scope. You will work as part of a dedicated team in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma, a state approved EMT‑I course, and a current Georgia EMT‑I certification with BLS CPR, plus a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• State-approved EMT-I course completion.
• Current Georgia driver’s license and Georgia EMT-I certification.
• BLS CPR required.
• Experience desirable.
• Proficient in basic patient care and basic computer applications.

Responsibilities

• Respond to routine and emergency calls and provide medical evaluation and treatment within EMT-I scope.
• Assist in stabilizing patients and transferring care as needed.
• Operate within a team of responders in diverse weather and high-stress situations.

JOB SUMMARY

Responds to routine and emergency calls and provides medical evaluation and treatment for patients of all age populations within the scope of EMT-I training.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Education: High School, Completion of a State Approved EMT-I Course of Study

Licensure: Current valid drivers license, current Georgia certification, BLS CPR required.

Experience: Previous experience desirable.

Skills : Demonstrates proficiency in patient care skills for scope of practice. A working knowledge basic computer applications

PHYSICAL, MENTAL, ENVIRONMENTAL AND WORKING CONDITIONS:

• Must be able to work under stressful conditions in all types of weather.
• Must display motor coordination, manual dexterity and physical condition, to lift, carry, extricate and administer care to patients, possess both near and far visual acuity necessary for driving a vehicle (day or night). Corrective lenses permitted. Ability to prioritize work assignments
