As a team member you will transport patients safely, perform pre-trip inspections, and communicate clearly with dispatch and healthcare staff while delivering compassionate patient care. Responsibilities include lifting patients, operating stretchers and wheelchairs, and ensuring safety

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old and licensed for a minimum of 5 years.
• Valid Washington State Driver’s License.
• Valid EMT certification or ID.
• No more than 2 moving violations within the past 3 years.
• DOT drug screening and criminal background check are required.
• Willing to work weekends and flexible shifts.
• Physically capable of lifting, moving, and securing patients.
• Able to operate stretchers, wheelchairs, and medical transport equipment.
• Strong communication skills and ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Positive attitude and genuine desire to help others.

Responsibilities

• Flexible and willing to support multiple transportation services within the company, including wheelchair transport and BLS operations.
• Safely transport patients to and from medical facilities, residences, and hospitals using company emergency vehicles.
• Provide basic emergency and patient support within EMT scope of practice.
• Communicate clearly with dispatch, healthcare staff, patients, and family members.
• Utilize a smartphone and company systems for job-related functions.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections and maintain vehicle cleanliness and readiness.
• Properly secure patients using stretchers, wheelchairs, and other medical transport devices.
• Maintain accurate trip logs, reports, and required documentation.
• Respond professionally and compassionately during emergency and non-emergency situations.
• Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and state regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Must be flexible and willing to support multiple transportation services within the company, including wheelchair transport and Basic Life Support (BLS) operations. Depending on operational needs, responsibilities may include driving wheelchair-accessible vehicles, serving as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) on BLS trips to provide patient care, or driving BLS transport units. Candidates must be comfortable performing a variety of duties and adapting to different service assignments as needed.
