Job summary

Join Parachute, LLC is seeking an EMT-B/EMT-A to join our Center Medical team in Greensboro, NC. As an EMT on site, you’ll help ensure donor health and safety, support donor experience, and collaborate with center staff to maintain a welcoming environment.

You’ll operate as part of a high-growth, fast-paced organization, with responsibilities spanning health screenings, reaction care, and cross-training across center functions. Competitive hourly pay and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old.
• High school diploma, GED or higher.
• Certified/licensed EMT (Advanced or Basic) in the state of employment; EMT-B requires 1+ year of work experience.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.
• Able to lift 50 pounds and stand or sit for extended periods.
• Ability to work weekends, regularly or as needed.

Responsibilities

• Monitor donor eligibility and safety; perform health screenings and physical exams
• Respond to donor reactions and provide care as needed
• Work collaboratively with center staff
• Manage health logs and test results with clinical oversight
• Keep exam rooms clean, stocked, and compliant
• Cross training in all center functions including phlebotomy, processing bottles, and station installation

What You’ll Do
As an EMT (Physician Substitute), you will be a key member of the site’s lean team, responsible for donor health and safety and a critical part of the donor experience. You’ll work collaboratively with center staff to create a positive environment for the team and our donors.
