Job summary

AMR in Decatur, IL is hiring Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs). This full-time role offers $17.50–$18.03 per hour with a 24/48 schedule. You will respond to emergencies, assess patients, and deliver high-quality care and service.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• State EMT license and current BLS/NREMT certifications are required.
• State driver's license and clean driving record are required.
• Pass a physical agility test and have healthcare experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond to emergency and non-emergency requests for medical assistance and deliver high-quality patient care.
• Assess patients, determine appropriate care, and provide emergency services with proper techniques and equipment.
• Document patient information, condition and treatment while maintaining confidentiality.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and well-stocked environment for patients.
• Operate an ambulance in accordance with safety policies and traffic laws.
• Collaborate professionally with allied health, public safety personnel, and fellow EMTs.
• Participate in community programs to support AMR image and community relations.
