Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED is required.
Must have a valid State of South Carolina Driver’s License.
EMT Certification from the State of South Carolina is a must.
Certification in AHA Basic Life Support is necessary.
Candidate must be physically able to perform job duties.
At least 90 days (3 months) of 911 experience to be eligible for 911 services.

Responsibilities

Operate vehicle safely for patient pick-up and drop-off.
Provide patient care and movement during transport.

Job Summary

Functions as Emergency Medical Technician for general transportation and general transport on ambulances in Anderson County Operation. EMT safely operates vehicle to/from pick up and drop off locations. Provides patient care and movement. Documents all completely per company SOP. Adheres to all company policies and procedures.
