Job description

Now Hiring: Paramedics & EMTs – Join the Gold Standard in EMS
Beaufort County EMS is seeking highly skilled and dedicated EMS professionals to join our premier, non–fire-based 911 emergency medical service. Our department is proud to offer one of the most desirable shift schedules in the industry, 24/72 providing the work-life balance today’s EMS professionals deserve.

What Makes Beaufort County EMS Different

Dedicated 911 EMS Response – We are not fire-based and do not provide routine facility transports.

No Firefighting Duties – Focus exclusively on emergency medical response.

24/72 Shift Schedule – Extended recovery and personal time built into your schedule.

Competitive Compensation– Includes Salary, Benefits, And Paid Holidays.

High-Quality Resources – Modern equipment, professional uniforms, and body armor provided.

Balanced Call Volume – Approximately 21,000 calls annually with 11 frontline ambulances and 5 Quick Response Vehicles (QRVs). Unlike larger systems with the same number of units responding to 50,000+ calls, our structure supports better call distribution, less fatigue, and higher quality patient care.
