Job summary

Heed Health seeks EMTs to join our event medics team, delivering essential first aid and safety coverage at diverse events in Spokane, WA. This role offers flexible shifts and the chance to earn $24/hour while supporting participants with prompt care.

As part of a dedicated team, you’ll provide first-aid, perform BLS/CPR when needed, and determine escalation to EMS. Join us for varied environments and professional growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• EMT certification is required.
• CPR/BLS training and AED knowledge.
• Ability to assess injuries and illnesses and provide appropriate first aid.
• Strong communication with EMS and event organizers.
• Willingness to work across diverse events and shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-aid treatment to injured participants.
• Administer basic life support measures (CPR) when needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• First-Aid Administration : Offer first-aid treatment to patients reporting injuries or illnesses, ensuring prompt and effective care.
• Basic Life Support : Be prepared to administer basic life support measures, including CPR, to stabilize patients in critical situations.
• Emergency Care Escalation : Evaluate patients' conditions to determine if they require escalation to emergency care and make informed decisions for their well‑being.
• Coordination with Emergency Services : Communicate and coordinate with emergency services to facilitate patient transfers when necessary.
