Job summary

Loyal Source is seeking qualified professionals to support detainee healthcare in our humanitarian mission. The role requires EMT certification, BLS, and recent clinical experience, with NREMT preferred.

A Tier 4 security clearance is required to commence, and local candidates are needed. Responsibilities include taking vital signs, documenting medical issues, coordinating care with providers, and ensuring orders are followed.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required.
• Certification as an EMT.
• NREMT preferred.
• Must have at least one year experience within the last 24 months.
• Tier 4 Security Clearance required to start.
• Must be local.
• Must be COMFORTABLE with all age groups 0-99.

Responsibilities

• Obtain medical histories and complete necessary paperwork on detainees entering facilities including vital signs.
• Any medical problems are referred to the Physician, and/or NP/PA.
• Assist with medical appointments, emergencies and sick calls including taking vital signs and documenting detainee's medical complaints.
• Document all detainee contacts, followed by their signature and name stamp.
• Ensure the medical provider's orders are implemented.
• Coordinate health care needs of detainees with other staff members.
• Coordinate referrals to off-site providers as required.
• Perform record keeping functions in accordance with program policies.

SCHEDULE

• 48-Hour work week
• Day, Night, and Weekend shifts
• Pay: $18.75 + $4.93 / hour
