Job summary

This position is located within a National Forest and provides a wide range of logistical and administrative support duties in the dispatch office.

GS-5 level with one year of specialized experience or equivalent education is required. Telework is not available and travel is occasional. Salary is $19.52 per hour, with a not-to-exceed appointment for up to 6 months, and full-time schedule.

Qualifications

• General clerical and administrative work experience.
• Experience using standard office software and telecommunications equipment.
• Background in organizing files and handling mail and records.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine administrative and clerical duties for the dispatch office.
• Answers and screens emergency and general inquiries via phone.
• Maintains office files, routes mail, and updates data records.
• Compiles and verifies reports and statistics related to dispatch activities.
