Job summary

AC Disaster Consulting seeks a Logistics Section Chief to lead incident logistics, coordinate with state and federal partners, and supervise branches within the Logistics Section. The role requires strong planning, procurement, and field deployment experience in disaster response.

The position is temporary with 12-hour shifts, onsite at CO EOC locations, and involves frequent travel and close collaboration with MS-ISF and NGO partners. Bachelor's in a related field is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or other applicable field.
• Experience with Incident Command Framework at state or federal levels.
• Experience with financial management applications.
• Experience in Emergency Operations Center or disaster response with at least 2 activations.
• Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office 365.
• Complete IS-100, IS-200, IC S-300, IC S-400 IS-700, IS-800, E/G/L-0191, E/L-0958, O-0305.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with SLRC to prioritize support requirements and identify hardest-hit counties.
• Collaborate with ESF-6 and NGOs to deploy field kitchens and cantinas.
• Secure land or buildings for staging areas via lease, RRF, or MOA.
• Coordinate with ESF-11 to project and procure food, water, and ice.
• Support Logistics Staging Area (LSA) operations with National Guard.
• Advise on capabilities and limitations for service and support.
• Attend meetings and ensure adherence to contract scope and timeline.
• Review tactical plans for operational periods and adjust as needed.
