Job summary

The California State University is seeking an Emergency Hire - Administrative Support Coordinator at Cal Poly - Solano Campus in Vallejo to support disability services. Job Summary
  • Coordinate the delivery of accommodations and services (e.g. testing, assistive technology check out)
  • Welcome and screen office visitors, emails and phone calls for staff; take messages and/or refer calls to university departments and/or personnel as appropriate; independently research matters when necessary to respond to inquiries.
  • Coordinate continuous coverage for the office to allow for optimal response to walk-in visitors and callers, both within and outside of, the university.
  • Develop and update training materials for service areas that include general explanation of principles, techniques, standards, guides and professional skills to be implemented when working with students with disabilities.
  • Assist in data collection and monthly reports for service usage.
  • Oversee the office supply inventory to ensure that stock is maintained and costs are kept within budget.
  • Maintain a central filing system for the division, consisting of both confidential and nonconfidential files, to ensure documentation is filed timely and accurately, and can be easily retrievable.
Education and Experience
  • High school diploma or its equivalent. Type 45 wpm. Four years of general office support or technical experience. (Training in a vocational school or full-time college education may be substituted for two years of the required experience on the basis of one year of college education for 6 months of experience).

Anticipated Hiring Range: $23.35 - $25.78 Per Hour

Classification Range: $23.35 - $34.02 Per Hour
