Job summary

Mental Health Association of Rochester is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide professional patient care in an Emergency Department setting. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care using evidence-based practices and interdisciplinary collaboration in a part-time night shift role at a Brighton, CO facility.

The ideal candidate holds a current RN license, BLS certification, and at least one year of emergency nursing experience; forensic/SANE experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in the practicing state; BLS certification required.
• One year of emergency nursing experience; forensic/SANE experience preferred.
• Strong skills in patient care delivery, communication, critical thinking, documentation, and team collaboration.
• Physical ability to perform patient transfers, operate equipment, and navigate busy environments.

Responsibilities

• Assess: Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical, social, and psychological status, collaborating with team members and families.
• Plan: Develop individualized care plans with patient, family, and team input, including education and follow-up support.
• Implement: Coordinate and delegate care activities, prioritize tasks, and manage resources effectively to deliver quality care.
• Evaluate: Monitor patient responses, outcomes, and satisfaction, adjusting care plans as needed.
• Professionalism: Uphold legal and ethical standards, maintain accurate documentation, and participate in professional development.
