Job summary

AC Disaster Consulting is looking for a Finance & Administration Section Chief to execute financial operations at the designated Emergency Operations Center in Colorado. This role requires overseeing the Finance desk, managing budgeting processes, and developing staffing patterns to ensure effective operation during disaster response.

The ideal candidate will hold a degree in Finance or Accounting and possess strong skills in financial management applications and strategic planning. This position is temporary and requires on-site attendance.

Qualifications

• Experience in emergency management with at least 5 years preferred.
• Experience within the Incident Command Framework at state or federal levels.
• Knowledge of financial management applications and their use.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Finance desk and supervise various units.
• Develop staffing patterns for SERT activities.
• Track event costs and report mission costs to leadership.
