Regional 911 Intake Solutions is seeking Police Dispatcher opportunities in Lane, KS. Dispatchers will receive emergency and nonemergency requests for police assistance and coordinate with officers to ensure fast, accurate responses.

Responsibilities include documenting locations and hazards, assigning calls by priority, monitoring status and radio traffic, and relaying updates. A high school diploma or equivalent is typically required, with certifications often preferred.

• Typing accurately, understand spoken information, and communicate clearly by radio.
• Access to criminal justice information systems may require additional screening.

• Receive emergency and nonemergency requests for police assistance

• Assign calls to available officers according to priority and procedures
• Monitor officer status, radio traffic, and requests for assistance
