Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or GED.
• One to three years of customer service/clerical experience preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance plans is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients with professionalism and courtesy.
• Verify demographics, insurance, and guarantor information.
• Obtain signatures and consents for treatment and billing.
• Balance cash drawers and document financial transactions.
• Refer patients to Financial Assistance or Medicaid resources when appropriate.
