Job summary

Penn State Health Lancaster Medical Center is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse for the Emergency Department in Lancaster, PA. Evening shift 3:00p–11:00p with a $2.00/hour evening differential and a 1.00 FTE

You will provide direct nursing care under a RN or provider, document in EMR, and educate patients and families as planned. A 5,000 USD sign-on bonus is available for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed to practice as a licensed practical nurse by state of employment or holds a multistate LPN license through the Interstate Nurse Licensure Compact.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required prior to completion of orientation.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and individualized nursing care to an assigned group of patients under the direction of a registered nurse or provider.
• Observe, report and record medical information and nursing care in the EMR; teach patients and families according to plans.
