Job summary

Gundersen Health System is seeking a part-time Emergency Department Technician/EMT to join our Emergency Services team in La Crosse, Wisconsin. You will work 60 hours biweekly (0.75 FTE) with 12-hour night shifts (7p–7a) and every third weekend/holiday rotation, starting at $19.05 per hour plus experience-based differentials.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or equivalent, NREMT or Wisconsin EMT-B certification, and Infant-Adult BLS for Health Care Providers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• EMT certification (NREMT or Wisconsin EMT-B).
• Current Infant-Adult Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers.

Responsibilities

• Assist in emergency care in a high-energy department as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Provide patient care under supervision within ED setting.
