Baptist Health Floyd in New Albany, IN is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse to support weekend coverage in the Emergency Department. The role requires weekend 11a-11p shifts with 24 hours per week.

You will provide direct patient care on a fast-paced unit, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and meet licensing and certification requirements. New graduates welcome; premium pay is offered for WOW weekend shifts.

Qualifikationen

• Current Indiana or compact state RN license or graduate of approved nursing program.
• BLS for healthcare provider required.
• ACLS certification required (within 12 months of hire).
• PALS certification required (within 12 months of hire).
• NIHSS certification required (within 10 weeks of hire).

Seeking Registered Nurse WOW! Baptist Health Floyd, Emergency Department Part-Time (24 hours/week), Weekends Only, Mid- shift (11am-11pm)

Job Duties

• In this role, the RN will be responsible and accountable for direct comprehensive nursing care for the patient.
• The Registered Nurse will function as an on-shift team member providing direct patient care to meet the needs of patients, families, and co-workers.

About the Unit

The Emergency Department (ED) has 41 beds divided between two pods with 37 private rooms. A split-flow area is located near main triage and provides care to lower acuity patients. Split flow varies from 5-8 patients and is run by 1-2 nurses and a mid-level provider. This fast-paced ED treats an average of 160+ patients per day. ED staff encounter a wide variety of patients including acute cardiovascular and neurovascular emergencies, general medical emergencies, traumatic injuries, and psychiatric patients. The ED is recognized by the American Heart Association as both a STEMI receiving center and a designated Primary Stroke Center. New Graduate RNs are welcome.
