Job summary

OSF HealthCare is seeking an Emergency Department Technician in Peoria, IL. The role involves supporting the ED team with patient care, vital signs, specimen collection, ECGs, and safety. Qualifications

• Education: High School/GED.
• Licenses/Certifications: BLS for Healthcare Provider CPR, CNA, EMT-B license in IL.
• Preferred qualifications include 6+ months clinical healthcare experience and strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Take vital signs and monitor patient status.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living.
• Collect specimens and perform ECGs as directed.
• Record patient information and communicate with care team.
• Support patient comfort, safety and basic wound care.
