Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to serve as a caregiver for a specific patient population. The role focuses on expanding knowledge and providing direct care as part of an interdisciplinary team.

The nurse will delegate and coordinate care among peers, physicians and support services to meet patient needs. The position requires an active RN license, BLS/CPR certification, and either 6+ months of nursing experience or participation in Hackensack Meridian Health's Nurse

Qualifications

• Must have current RN license to work at the assigned location.
• BLS/CPR certification required within 60 days of hire.
• Six months or more nursing experience OR active participation in Hackensack Meridian Health Nurse Residency Program.
• BSN in progress and/or willing to acquire within three years of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care as part of an interdisciplinary team.
• Coordinate patient care and unit activities among nursing peers, physicians and support services.
• Delegate, validate, and evaluate care provided by other caregivers.
