Job summary

Lallie Kemp Regional Medical Center in the Florida Parishes region of Southeast Louisiana is seeking an Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN 1-3) to provide nursing services to patients of all ages presenting for emergent and non-emergent care.

Salary varies by RN level (RN1 starting at $24.57/hour, RN2 $27/hour, RN3 $30/hour) with shift-based add-ons and certifications; BLS/ACLS/PALS and Louisiana licensure are required before appointment.

Qualifications

• Current Louisiana RN license, temporary permit, or NLC/eNLC multi-state license.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required before appointment.

Responsibilities

• Complete or assist with initial assessment of patients' needs and establish priorities using a five-level triage system.
• Communicate and coordinate patient care with supervisory staff, oncoming nurse and other disciplines.
• Collaborates with physician and other disciplines to develop plan of care.
• Facilitate appropriate referrals according to continuity care needs.
