Job summary

Alpha Home Health and Hospice seeks an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality, evidence-based care from triage through discharge or admission. You will perform rapid assessments, administer medications and IV therapies, and monitor patient conditions in a dynamic ED setting.

Collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary teams, you will ensure accurate documentation in the EMR and educate patients and families about care plans and health management.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure with emergency department experience.
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, evidence-based care to ED patients from triage to discharge or admission.
• Perform rapid assessments, administer medications and IV therapies, monitor patient conditions.
• Participate in codes and trauma situations with prompt and effective response.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to deliver coordinated patient care.
• Document all patient interactions and interventions in the EMR system.
• Educate patients and families about care plans and health management.
