Job summary

Bridgeport Hospital, part of Yale New Haven Health, is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team. Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred.
• Licensed and currently registered nurse in Connecticut; clinical specialty certification encouraged.
• Minimum of one year ED RN experience; SPIRE advancement program encouraged.
• Current BCLS certification or must obtain within one month of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care guided by ANA Scope and Standards of Practice.
• Coordinate care, communicate with patient, family, and health care team.
• Uphold ethics, culturally congruent practice, and professional performance.
• Ensure health teaching and promotion as part of care delivery.
