Job summary

MercyOne in Des Moines, IA is seeking a Night Shift Nurse Manager to lead nursing teams and sustain a positive, collaborative environment while ensuring high-quality patient care.

The ideal candidate will have a nursing degree, Iowa RN licensure, BLS certification, and 2+ years of clinical and leadership experience, with a preference for a master's degree.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Iowa RN license.
• BLS certification required within three months of hire.
• At least two years of relevant clinical nursing experience.
• Supervisory or nursing leadership experience preferred.

What You'll Need

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within three months of hire.
• Mandatory Reporter training for Child and Dependent Adult Abuse required within six months of hire, where applicable.
• Specialty practice certification preferred.

• Strong communication, relationship-building, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
