St. Vincent's Medical Center is seeking a qualified RN for a 24-hour night shift in our Level II Trauma ED. The role requires an active CT RN license, at least one year of acute care experience, and current BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the State of CT prior to start date.
• Associate's Degree required, BSN preferred.
• One year acute care RN experience required.
• Active BLS certification

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside RN care in the Emergency Department, ensuring continuous monitoring and comfort.
• Collaborate with trauma, ED physicians, and support staff to coordinate patient care.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and care plans accurately and timely.
• Support patient safety initiatives and patient-family communication in a high-acuity setting.
