University Health KC seeks a Clinical Nurse RN to join the Emergency Department at Lakewood Medical Center in Kansas City, MO. This full-time role offers a 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM schedule and a 36-hour work week to care for patients with acute, chronic, or terminal illnesses.

You will assess and plan nursing care, collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, mentor students, and ensure compliance with the Missouri Nurse Practice Act and organizational requirements.

Formación

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Current state license as a Registered Nurse in Missouri.
• Current BCLS certification.

Responsabilidades

• Assess patients based on diagnosis and care needs.
• Plan, perform, delegate, and evaluate nursing care using professional skills.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to achieve best patient outcomes.
• Participate in committees, program evaluations, research and education.
• Supervise and mentor students.
• Comply with Missouri Nurse Practice Act and organizational/regulatory requirements.

Missouri RN license

BCLS certification

Educación

Nursing BSN or equivalent specialty degree
