Job summary

UC Davis Health is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department to provide autonomous, patient-centered care across adult and pediatric populations. You will assess, plan, implement, educate, and evaluate care, while leading and mentoring team members in a fast-paced Level 1 ED environment.

Applicants should hold a California RN license, BLS/ACLS/PALS, and TNCC, with 1 year ED or 2 years acute care experience.

Qualifications

• CA RN license without restriction.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.
• TNCC certification.
• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Minimum 1 year ED RN experience or 2 years acute care experience.
• English language proficiency and medical terminology knowledge.
• Commitment to patient care and professionalism.
• Knowledge of legal implications in clinical practice and documentation.
• Experience with performance improvement and evidence-based practice.
• Basic computer skills.
