Job summary

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
• One year RN experience preferred or candidates with prior emergency medical services health care experience.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high‑quality nursing care to diverse patient populations in the ED.
• Foster professional development with opportunities to advance nursing practice.
• Coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process, ensuring safety and adherence to standards.
• Lead and collaborate with the ED team to deliver therapeutic care per policies and procedures.
• Use evidence‑based practice and clinical judgment to maintain a safe patient environment and positive experience across the care continuum.
• Complete orientation and obtain ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications as needed.
