Job summary

Southern New Hampshire Medical Center in Nashua, NH seeks an Emergency Services Registered Nurse to assess, intervene, and stabilize pediatric and adult patients presenting with a variety of illnesses, injuries or trauma. The ED RN completes a competency-based orientation to become proficient in serving the Emergency Services population.

The role emphasizes priority-based care, integration of best practices, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Current NH licensure as a Registered Nurse.
• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing (ADN or BSN required).
• 1–2 years of experience in an Emergency setting.

Responsibilities

• Assess and implement priority-based nursing care and establish goals to meet the patient’s needs.
• Integrate patient values, best practice, and evidence into patient care.
• Engage patients and/or families in the care delivery.
• Function competently within own scope of practice.
• Delegate care activities to the patient care team.
• Collaborate with other disciplines to provide the patient with comprehensive care.
