Job summary

Baptist Health Floyd in New Albany, IN is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct, comprehensive nursing care in the Emergency Department. This full-time role rotates 12-hour shifts (9am-9pm) and every 4th weekend, with holiday coverage as required.

The RN will be a key on-shift team member delivering care to patients, families and staff, maintaining clinical standards in a fast-paced ED recognized for STEMI and stroke center designation. New graduates welcome.

Qualifications

• Current Indiana or compact state RN license, or graduate of approved nursing program.
• BLS for healthcare provider required.
• ACLS certification required (obtained within 12 months of hire).
• PALS certification required (obtained within 12 months of hire).
• NIHSS certification required (obtained within 10 weeks of hire).

Responsibilities

• Direct comprehensive nursing care for patients.
• Function as an on-shift team member providing direct patient care to meet the needs of patients, families, and co-workers.
