Job summary

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in a clinical nursing role or student clinical rotations in an acute care setting required.
• BLS certification required; ACLS/PALS preferred.
• RN licensure must be active in the state or compact state.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and delivers patient-centered care in accordance with nursing process and policies.
• Performs patient assessments and documents findings; reports changes in condition.
• Administers prescribed medications and monitors for adverse effects.
• Assists physicians during procedures within documented competency.
• Delivers patient and family education and supports post-discharge planning.
