Job summary

Seacrest Behavioral Health is seeking an experienced registered nurse to provide professional nursing care in the emergency department. You will assess health status, develop and implement care plans, and evaluate patient outcomes to ensure safe, effective care.

Responsibilities include comprehensive assessments, timely interventions, patient and family education, delegation to LPNs, and collaboration with the care team to coordinate services and support quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• RN with strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to manage high-acuity situations and prioritize care.
• Sound judgment in delegation, documentation, and outcome evaluation.
• Effective communication and teamwork with multidisciplinary stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and monitor changing conditions.
• Plan, implement, and evaluate nursing interventions based on clinical needs.
• Provide education and support to patients and families.
• Delegate appropriate tasks to LPNs and assistive personnel.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary care team to coordinate services.
